Job Title: TIG Welder III
Location: Murrieta CA
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm Friday and Saturday5:00am-1:30pm
Pay Rate: $21.00-$27.00/hour DOE
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team in fabricating and assembling metal components for mechanical structures and pressure vessels. This role requires exceptional precision as you’ll be responsible for creating high-integrity welds that serve as the backbone of critical infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding with the ability to work on a variety of metals—including stainless steel aluminum and other alloys. Strong blueprint reading skills attention to detail and the ability to follow exact specifications are essential to ensure the highest quality of workmanship.
Responsibilities:
• Perform TIG (GTAW) and FCAW-G (Gas-Shielded Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on a variety of metals with high precision.
• Safely set up and operate TIG and FCAW welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and weld symbols to plan layouts and welding procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding method and equipment based on material and job specifications.
• Use angle grinders saws and other tools to cut and prepare materials for welding.
• Clean deburr and align components using rulers tape measures and clamps prior to welding.
• Weld components manually or semi-automatically in multiple positions including vertical horizontal and overhead.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality dimensional accuracy and compliance with ASME SSC IX specifications.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in TIG (GTAW) and FCAW-G welding techniques.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools such as saws grinders squares and calipers.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• AWS welding certification is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of additional welding methods is a plus.
• Experience with precision or ornamental welding is a strong advantage.
