R&D Technician $26-$36 DOE
Location: Murrieta CA
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am-4:30pm 1-hour lunch Temp to Hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking an R&D Technician to join our engineering team. This role will encompass early-stage product design to physical realization of medical device prototypes and manufacturing processes.
The R&D Technician will operate and maintain laboratory equipment offer design feedback to engineering and maintain compliance within a quality-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prototype Assembly building high-quality complex medical device prototypes.
Assist engineers in defining methods processes and drafting technical documentation.
Design and develop custom manufacturing tooling and fixtures to support production.
Interpret engineering drawings and instructions offer feedback to refine prototype designs.
Serve as the SME for laboratory equipment and instruments maintenance calibration and optimal usage.
Work independently and within teams under QC environment procedures and guidelines.
Maintain precise records draft updates to support client meetings.
Maintain a professional demeanor during complex client interactions.
Qualifications & Skills
5–10 years’ experience in medical device manufacturing or a related industry.
High School Diploma (or equivalent) or significant equivalent hands-on experience.
Familiarity with medical device equipment/techniques (e.g. laser welding plastic processing soldering bench testing and precision inspection).
Mechanical comprehension basic arithmetic interpret drawings and manufacturing documentation.
Proficient with MS Office applications.
Self-directed with minimal supervision required; organized collaborative team player.
Prior experience working within an assembly line setting highly desired.
Experience in Medical Device Quality Management Systems (QMS).
