Overview of Position:
We are looking to hire Cleaning Crew for a Poultry Farm who will perform tasks such as cleaning the hen houses shoveling manure and ensuring the smooth running of equipment.
Job Duties:
Clean hen houses using a Cleaning Checklist
Clean Scrappers off each belt
Clean gear box maintenance doors
Dust walls and other areas as needed
Use a shovel to pick up manure from floor
Clean Plenums areas as needed
Clean the Pit & complete "Manure Pit Cleaning Checklist"
Report any broken items to Maintenance for repair
Other duties as defined by management
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Flexible to work up to 6 days a week including weekends and holidays
Understand oral and written instructions and record egg gathering information.
Ability to work with chemicals such as detergents disinfectants etc.
Willing to Stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Working in a poultry house environment including outdoors and in seasonal conditions
Working with live animals and the related smells in a noisy environment with dust.
