Shipping Coordinator $19-$21 DOE
Location: Temecula CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm Temp to Hire
Summary:
Retrieves product from Warehouse and Manufacturing to fill Customer requests. Use best methods to pack orders to avoid damage and accurately ship as scheduled.
This position requires warehouse experience or shipping and receiving and a knowledge of inventory control. Ability to prioritize organize work and multi-task.
PC Skills and Microsoft Suite is preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verify and document product packaging and other information on specified forms and records.

Inspect containers materials and products to ensure that packaging specifications are met.

Measure weigh and count products and material to ensure shipment accuracy.

Pack seal and label products for shipping using hand tools or power tools.

Examine order contents and compare to manifests invoices or packing slips to verify accuracy.

Report to problems such as damages shortages or nonconformance to specifications.

Requisition and store shipments in proper location to maintain traceability.

Maintain communication with the Warehouse the Shipping and Materials Coordinator.

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks or dollies to move items.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of one to three years warehousing or shipping and receiving experience

Familiarity with Shipping software and labeling procedures.

Knowledgeable in inventory control.

Ability to use Microsoft Suite is preferred.

Drug Screen and Background Check Required.
