Street Maintenance Worker $25.53
Location: Murrieta CA
Duration: Contract – Minimum 30 days may extend up to six months
Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule Mon-Thur and every other Friday 6am-3.30pm Friday schedule 6am-2.30pm
Overview of Position:
We are seeking Maintenance Worker with experience working in the roadway.
Any basic hand tools or construction type equipment traffic control experience a big plus.
You will be working with a Crew for the construction maintenance and repair of streets curbs gutters sidewalks storm drains graffiti removal and traffic signs.
A VALID CA DRIVER’S LICENSE and CLEAN DRIVING RECORD is REQUIRED!
Duties and Responsibilities may include:

Construction and maintenance of streets sidewalks storm water and drainage systems street sweeping graffiti abatement and traffic signage and striping.

Breaks and removes pavements; digs shovels hauls and loads soils sand gravel cement asphalt; cleans up work sites upon completion of job.

Sweeps debris and litter assists in emptying loads at dump sites.

Operates trucks and motorized equipment such as dump trucks tractors skip loaders bobcats backhoes front loaders jackhammer and other power tools

Operates air compressor and pneumatic air tools breaking guns and concrete saws

Uses hand tools including shovels picks brooms wheelbarrows rakes and rollers.

Street lighting poles and fixtures; assembly and installation of traffic signs.

Lays and rakes asphalt and oil spray. Performs rough carpentry and pipefitting.

Mixes sets trowels and finishes concrete cement and masonry.

Measures and lays out center lines crosswalks and other line markings.

Maintains records of work performed.
Skills & Experience Required:
Prior experience working in roadways construction and maintenance REQUIRED!
Understand and follow instructions work with a Team.
Valid CA Driver’s License and clean DMV record REQUIRED!
Live Scan Background check and Drug Screen required.
