Maintenance Technician $23-$25 DOE
Location: Murrieta CA
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 5:00am-3:30pm (some days off at 1:30pm) Friday 5am-1:30pm Saturdays as needed 5am-12:30pm.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to take on a range of responsibilities to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operation. This role is essential for maintaining equipment performing repairs and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair various pneumatic hydraulic and electrical components and systems.
• Installation and repair of manufacturing equipment such as CNC lathes Press Brakes Shears Paint equipment Forklifts material handling equipment and overhead cranes and other manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance of welding equipment electric motors and pressure systems.
• Preventative maintenance duties by following routines and providing detailed documentation in CMMS (computerized maintenance management system).
• Diagnose and repair basic facility issues such as plumbing electrical/lighting door locks and irrigation.
• Provide support to manufacturing group by performing non-routine service requests to assure maximum equipment uptime.
• Operate a variety of machinery equipment and tools including saws router drills sanders planers drill presses and various hand tools.
• Follow safety policies and maintenance safety guidelines. Advise management of any potential risk to equipment downtime and provides a corrective and countermeasure plan.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
Skills and Experience Required
• 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing environments
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and proficiency diagnosing and repairing pneumatic hydraulic electrical and fluid systems/equipment.
• Disassembly and assembly of hydraulic cylinders valves and hoses.
• Read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
• Experience operating forklifts electric pallet jacks and overhead and jib cranes.
• Strong computer skills to document completed work and PM’s in CMMS systems.
• Light fabrication skills (welding and machining) preferred.
• Drug and Background Check required.
